Let’s Bring the Spring to Your Home

“Kalada” means “a puff” — an everyday gesture shared by marijuana consumers around the world. From this idea, and from our passion for the plant and everything surrounding its cultural and social world, we decided to come together and take advantage of the opportunity in Spain to open activities known as “cannabis clubs.” By combining all the experience we had accumulated over previous years, we founded the “La Kalada” project back in 2010. That was the moment when we seriously began considering the possibility of developing this kind of project under a legal framework which, in theory, allowed the distribution of marijuana and its derivatives within the strict non-profit associative model, aimed at an adult and consenting public — just as we ourselves had already been for a long time. It is also worth mentioning that, if we were to place ourselves within the chronology of the Spanish cannabis movement, we could consider ourselves part of the second generation, and certainly one of the groups that later contributed to shaping what became known as the “movement.”
